Since 2011, Salt has been a beacon of hope, offering vital support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and disadvantage.
By joining our team of over 200 dedicated volunteers, you become part of a compassionate community committed to empowering others and fostering real change.
What Volunteers Do
As a volunteer, you will be directly involved in providing essential services, whether it's distributing food and clothing through the Salt Store, offering a listening ear and support at Safe Shelter Shoalhaven, or helping individuals transition from homelessness to stability through our housing programs. You will also have the chance to mentor and guide at-risk youth, assist in the recovery of those battling addiction, or support formerly incarcerated individuals as they reintegrate into society.
